A leak on a new public forum reveals that COD: Modern Warfare 3 will feature an operator inspired by a famous fast-food restaurant chain. This exciting new character was discovered through a leak that emerged shortly after the game’s online teaser.
The New Shooter’s Unofficial Reveal
In this case, the leak provides a little unofficial insight into the next COD: Modern Warfare 3 character. The character seems to bear a resemblance to the chartacter caesar from Little Caesars, the popular fast-food chain. The leak hints at some significant changes we might see in sniper rifles in the upcoming game.
No Foreign Involvement in Cross-Promotions of Food, Drinks, and Restaurant Brands
This leak has created quite a buzz, and Activision is not unfamiliar with exploring online marketing promotions well before their official announcements. The Monster Energy promotion for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 was the most recent example of this during the start of July.
In another instance of this trend, a non-advertised Call of duty Modern Warfare 3 Little Caesars promotion surfaced on Twitter at the end of October. This revealed an in-game banner for an upcoming event. A slice of pizza-themed player card decorated with Little Caesars’ colors is shown with the logo. The character sports the attire of a Little Caesars pizza cutter, hot-and-ready tagline, and a mischievous grin, among other things.
Little Caesars Promotion – Starting Soon
The Little Caesars promotion is set to kick off on Wednesday, November 1st, exclusively during the early access period of the Modern Warfare 3 campaign. While details are scant at the moment, Activision’s track record suggests some exciting expectations for the upcoming event. Basically, what we do know is that, these promotions require players to physically go to these restaurant locations and participate in the event. This enables them to receive a code, that can be redeemed for in-game goodies.
In this instance, the primary reward is seemingly a special operator skin. Additionally, it’s possible that the Modern Warfare 3 Little Caesars promotion might grant players a temporary XP boost, as it’s one of the common bonuses given out as part of the Activision cross-promotion events.
The upcoming promotion with Little Caesars will not be the first collaboration of its kind in the Call of Duty series. In contrast, Activision ran a similar Little Caesars promotion for Modern Warfare 2 released in October 2022. This specific event restricted players to accumulate up to 80 reward codes per account, so it’s reasonable to assume that the upcoming promotion will adhere to similar limitations.
