After almost three years of marriage, Jeezy filed for divorce from his wife and former TV host Jeannie Mai. They are currently waiting for the court to approved it.

Jeezy’s Journey Amidst the Jeannie Mai Divorce

Repper filed the application on Thursday, September 14, in Fulton County Superior Court in Georgia. As per the initial report from The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, they’ve highlighted that this couple is actively engaged in the legal process, seeking joint custody for their precious one-year-old daughter named Monaco.

According to documents seen by the Board, the former couple is ‘currently living in a state of separation.’ Repper also stated that the marriage ‘has broken irretrievably’ and there’s ‘no hope of reconciliation.’

In order to request their input and comments on the matter, the Board is reaching out to Jeezy and Mai’s representatives.

Their meeting happened in 2018 during Mai’s time on The Real, but they remained quiet about their dating status. In 2019, they decided to share their love story with the world and later that same year, happily announced their engagement! Due to strict COVID-19 restrictions, they moved their wedding from France to Jeezy’s home in Georgia in 2021, where they held an intimate ceremony.

Mai informed Vogue in April 2021, ‘We were really looking forward to celebrating there with all our friends and family.’ ‘But due to COVID, we had to change all our wedding plans.’ After Jeezy’s unexpected loss of his mother, we quickly realized life is too short. So we decided to turn our original wedding into a mini-mony, where we exchanged our vows in front of our close family and a few close friends.’

In 2022, Jeezy and Mae welcomed their first child together. ‘I asked God for a life full of love and happiness. He sent me my family,’ Mai announced at the time on Instagram. ‘Baby Jenkins is here.’

The reason behind this is still a mystery.
